"...there was no one to love them..."
"... Jews still a target..."
"The hidden children talk about what happened to those who
saved them."

Survivors of the Holocaust
In 1945, at the end of the Second World War, the liberating armies
moved across Europe. The horrific truth of the Holocaust was revealed
to the Hidden Children as they crawled out of hiding. These children
joined millions of displaced people, starving and penniless, trying
to find their way home. They talk of the horror at discovering their
families had not survived while a few had the overwhelming joy of
meeting a parent or relative.
Even after the war Jews remained a target for revenge killings.
Those who had risked their lives hiding Jews were now terrorised
by beatings and often murder. The hidden children talk about what
happened to those who saved them.
